Visit to Praise Emmanuel Ophanage 6th January 2026
In the spirit of Christmas and giving, Selangor Mental Health Association (SMHA) paid a meaningful visit to Praise Emmanuel Orphanage, bringing joy and festive cheer to the children through the delivery of Christmas gifts and essential items.

The visit was aimed at sharing kindness, warmth, and emotional support with the children, while reinforcing the importance of compassion, community care, and mental well-being—especially among vulnerable groups. The children were delighted to receive the gifts, and the atmosphere was filled with smiles, laughter, and festive joy.

The event was graced by the presence of YB Wan Dzarhanurin, whose attendance underscored the importance of community-driven initiatives and collective responsibility in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of children in care institutions. His presence added significance to the occasion and reflected strong support for initiatives that promote mental health awareness and social welfare.

Representatives from Selangor Mental Health Association also took the opportunity to interact with the children and caregivers, emphasizing that mental health support goes beyond clinical settings and includes empathy, human connection, and consistent community engagement.

Selangor Mental Health Association remains committed to its mission of promoting mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and reaching out to communities in need. Through initiatives such as this Christmas outreach, SMHA hopes to continue making a positive impact by fostering hope, resilience, and emotional well-being among all segments of society.
