Mental health is a vital component of overall well-being, yet thousands of underprivileged individuals around Selangor continue to face barriers to accessing proper care. Socioeconomic challenges, stigma, and lack of resources all contribute to the widening gap between those who need help and those who receive it.

To address this, SMHA provides Community Counselling Subsidised Services. This service is tailored and monitored by mental health professionals to help reach remote or underserved populations.

The SMHA Community Counseling Program is specially subsidized for the B40 and M40 communities. As the program is fully funded by generous donors, slots are limited and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
